It was the eve of 1979 in Lima Peru when a then 4-year- old Cesar Valencia Oshiro
began his talent in art.

Era la víspera de 1978 en Lima, Perú, cuando César Valencia Oshiro, entonces de 4 años, comenzó su talento en el arte.
It was attributed to a simple chalkboard at home that he filled with drawings, erasing, and drawings again. Years down the road, he moved his skills from paper to human canvases as a hairstylist and make-up artist in Peru and Bolivia. He continued his art on human canvasses at Marco Antonio Salon in Lima, including through television and print media with modelling agencies such as Ford and Elle and Miss Peru competitions. He now owns Hana Salon & Spa in Lima.
After a seven-year long hiatus from non-human canvasses, Cesar returned to them while spending extended periods of time in Toronto. Picking up his passion again, with each artistic stroke, it was met with the reassurance that this was what Cesar wanted to continue to do.
Not only has his art evolved, but it has matured with the passage of time. Like his hairstyling and make-up talents, Cesar is completely self-taught and paints under the name Hiroshi O, reflecting his Japanese heritage.
